The Assam Co-operative Apex Bank Ltd. has released an official recruitment advertisement inviting eligible candidates for contractual positions as Specialist (Social Mobilisation) and Cooperative Intern. A total of 2 vacancies have been announced across these designations. This recruitment initiative aims to engage qualified professionals to strengthen field mobilization, rural financial linkage, and cooperative development activities across Assam. The engagement will strictly be on a contractual basis, subject to periodic performance reviews as per bank rules.
Eligibility & Selection Criteria
Candidates aspiring to apply for the engagement must ensure they meet the specific educational and experience requirements mentioned for each post:
- Specialist (Social Mobilisation): Requires a Graduation degree in Rural Development, Social Work, or Sociology from a recognized university. Candidates with a general Graduation degree accompanied by a Diploma in Rural Development or Social Work are also eligible. Additionally, candidates must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in farmer mobilization, field demonstrations, and organizing community-level meetings.
- Cooperative Intern: Requires an MBA or two-year full-time PGDM in Marketing Management, Cooperative Management, Agri-Business Management, or Rural Development Management from an AICTE/UGC recognized institute. Alternatively, candidates holding a Bachelor's Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in Agriculture or Cooperation are eligible.
Selection Process: Screening of applications will be carried out based on essential qualifications and experience. Shortlisted candidates will subsequently be called for a Personal Interview (PI) conducted by the Bank's selection committee.
