The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) has announced the recruitment of 51 contractual posts for the Strengthening of Environmental Regulators (SER)-Phase-III Project under the Namami Gange Programme. This initiative aims to enhance environmental regulation and management along the River Ganga. Selected candidates will be posted at various locations including the CPCB Head Office in Delhi and Regional Directorates in Lucknow, Kolkata, and Chandigarh.
Eligibility & Selection Criteria
To be eligible for these positions, candidates must meet specific educational qualifications and age limits as outlined below:
- Scientist-D: Master’s Degree in Environmental Science or Engineering, max age 50 years.
- Scientist-C: Master’s Degree in Environmental Science or Engineering, max age 45 years.
- Scientist-B: Master’s Degree in Environmental Science or Engineering, max age 35 years.
- Assistant Manager (Finance): Master’s Degree in Commerce or MBA, max age 35 years.
- Administrative Assistant: Bachelor’s Degree, max age 35 years.
- Scientific Assistant: Master’s Degree in Environmental Science or Engineering, max age 35 years.
- Taxonomist: Master’s Degree in Botany or Zoology, max age 35 years.
- Data Entry Operator: Bachelor’s Degree in Science or BCA, max age 32 years.
- Field Assistant: 10+2 in Science, max age 27 years.
